TRAIL TO THE BEACH OF ANTEQUERA + BOAT

Nestled in the Anaga massif we find the beach of Antequera, a hidden natural paradise in the middle of the Biosphere Reserve that today is one of those places in Tenerife capable of maintaining its original beauty..

Access to this remote site involves enjoying a fun experience in which you will combines hiking and beach before returning by boat to the starting point.. It is to enjoy Tenerife from a local perspective.

This hiking route begins at Las Teresitas beach where we will get into the van that will take us to the summit of Anaga, an enclave wrapped in the best representation of Laurisilva forest of the island.

From what is known as Lomo de las Bodegas (in Chamorga) we will start walking down the Antequera ravine, leaving behind small hamlets and ridges that open out to the sea before reaching a wonderful virgin beach.

Once the trail has been completed up to At Antequera beach we will have free time to rest and enjoy a well-deserved swim in the clean waters of the Atlantic before taking the boat back to Las Teresitas beach.. This second part of the experience will allow us to see the northeast coast of Tenerife and part of the impressive cliffs of Anaga.

Es recomendable es uso de calzado de montaña para esta actividad. Igualmente, ropa de abrigo, protección solar, agua, ropa de baño y comida deben formar parte de la mochila. En Antequera no hay bares por lo que no es posible rellenar agua ni comprar algo de comer durante esta ruta (ten esto en cuenta a la hora de planificar qué llevar de comer y beber).

The trail to Antequera beach has a medium difficulty and a duration of approximately 3 hours, including 2 sections of steep slope. It can be hard for those with knee or joint problems. That said, there are no dangerous or vertigo zones. The total distance is about 3.5 km.

The courtesy waiting time is 15 minutes. Delaying the activity means enjoying less time on the beach, so we can only wait a maximum of 15 min. courtesy time (as long as we are notified of the delay).

No refunds will be made in case of no-shows on the day of the activity booked without prior cancellation or change request.

In the event that weather or sea conditions are not expected to allow the activity to take place, we will cancel the activity and propose an alternative date or refund the full amount paid.
