Come aboard and enjoy our tour for whale watching tour in Tenerife, a 3 hour boat trip that includes lunch and a stop in front of Masca bay where you can take a swim in the cristal clear waters of this part of the island. After your swim in the refreshing waters the meal will be served. It consists of chicken wings, rice with vegetables (suitable for vegetarians), bread, fruit and ice cold drinks.

The marine channel located between the islands of Tenerife & La Gomera holds some of the most important marine biodiversity in this part of the world. Among them we will be in search of bottlenose dolphins and pilot whales as there are several permanent colonies living in the area all year round.

During the return back to the marina we will cruise along the coast to admire Los Gigantes cliffs as they tower up 600 meters from sea level.

What is the best time to book for a whale watching tour in Tenerife?

Any time is good. Between the islands of La Gomera and Tenerife there are permanent colonies of whales & dolphins living in the ocean. Being wild fauna, we can not ensure 100% sighting, but we do grant a 90% sightings. Bottlenose and spotted dolphins plus pilot whales are the most frequent species in these waters.

The cruise that we use for the whale watching tour in Tenerife has a blue boat flag. This flag is granted to all those boats authorized to make the sighting of cetaceans. In addition, companies adhering to the Tourism Quality Charter of Tenerife are committed, voluntarily, to offer a quality tourism service, respecting the animals and minimizing the impact that this may entail for the marine environment.

The availability of places on the boats for whale watching tour in Tenerife (especially in high season) varies constantly, so until we confirm the reservation via email or telephone (usually in less than 12 hours) we cannot guarantee the realization of activity. If the reservation could not be completed, we would propose an alternative schedule or proceed to refund the amount paid as soon as possible.

You must be at the meeting point 20 minutes before the boat is due to leave.

We advise you to arrive with enough time to find parking around the marina (at certain times of the year it can be difficult to park). Please keep this aspect in mind when planning your day.

The whale watching activity in Los Gigantes cannot be canceled during the 48 hours prior to the activity. 100% of it will be charged when the service is already contracted.

In case of canceling your reservation between 72 and 48 hours prior, the management fee will be 50% of the total amount.

In case of canceling your reservation between 7 and 3 days before, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total amount.

The refund of 100% of the total amount of the whale and dolphin watching reservation will be effective in the following cases:

  •  In case of canceling your reservation more than 7 days in advance.
  •  In cases of bad weather that does not allow us to go aboard.
  •  In the event that the minimum number of 4 passengers is not reached, we will be obliged to cancel the departure and return the amount paid in full.
